Shower Beer can be seen by some as a Basic Bitch move, but Shower Beers is a great source of ultimate relaxation. Is sitting in a bath with a glass of wine somehow more relaxing or classy than a Shower Beer, if you believe those that judge others than you’ll be forced into something that is unknowing to you a lie. Not limited to relaxation, Shower Beers can simply be a getting ready beer, a pre-game beer, a hideaway beer, regardless of how you employ the shower beer it is anything but basic. Choice of beer is ultimately up to you, but few guidelines will make your experience just that much better.

- Enjoy in the package, Glasses can warm in the shower as well the large opening is just asking for remnants to fall in beer.

- You’re not doing a beer tasting, you’re consuming a tasty beverage, this isn’t a place to evaluate the hop aroma or the malt character.

- A shelf or a place to set your beer down, hopefully far enough or high enough where the shower doesn’t interfere with the beer but still within grabbing distance.

Shower Beers are no longer for young 20 somethings getting ready for a crazy night, imagine you get home from a long day of work, you want a beer, but you need a shower. You have the in-laws coming over shortly, you need to get ready, but want a beer to relax. Bring that beer into the shower and enjoy, you might need another to dry too.  

Nothing quite beats a shower beer and some misconceptions about a shower beer needs to be addressed as there is only one true thing that trumps a Shower Beer.

- Beer in the bath – This is of equal value as a Shower Beer

- Keg tap in Shower – This is baller level but is still on the same level as a Shower beer due to you still having the beer in the shower, regardless of the advantages you have, you’re all equal in the Shower.

- Hot Tube Beer – Equal value but is not the same as a Shower Beer. Though Guidelines #1 & #2 applies here. Pool beer, Pool Bars etc are all equal value.

- Beer Bath is not of equal value and is far superior, If you are one of the lucky people to experience a beer bath with taps, it is most definitely a different experience.

Now Shower Beers don't bring you Beer Karma points, but rather is just another way to enjoy this amazing beverage!

Meaning:   Fridge Beer spotted circa 2011 Chicago, Humboldt Park Cold beer in a refrigerator for anyone to drink that enters one’s home. This is not to be mistaken as a BEER FRIDGE, though a Beer Fridge maybe the place where Fridge Beer is stored they are not of equal value. This beer is offered, Do you want one? Rather than do you mind if I have a beer. Guest shall not have to ask for a Fridge Beer as it's usually a “ everyones ” beer, but there are no rules to this and is all up to the owner’s discretion. Final Look of Everything Went Black My love for dark beers isn't limited to only Stouts and Porters. Black IPAs or Cascadian Dark Ales whatever you choose to call them, they are one of the unfortunate left behind styles. Yes, it's still being brewed by some breweries just not at the rate as it once did, even Firestone discontinued Wookey Jack . I found a love/obsession for them after having Lagunitas NightTime . If you want my opinion I think Dark Ale or Cascadian Dark Ale is probably a better descriptor for the style but honestly, I don't care. I had this beer called KCCO once and I think this was the moment that opened my mindset to the possibilities with darker styles. It was like a smooth cold brew coffee with little to no bite to it. After learning more about the style Black Lager/Schwarzbier style I started to seek them out and would always try when I saw them on tap. Prior to this beer I only made one dark beer and it was a stout that didn't turn out good...

B.Y.O.B is a common acronym that means Bring-Your-Own-Beer! ...But this is a misconception, because when you BYOB you bring it for everyone. Beer Karma never rewards you when you aren’t sharing your tasty beverage, it is after all meant to be drank. BYOB does allow you the freedom to bring the beer you want to drink, you don’t have to cater to all the guests, but it’s wise too and it’s important to take care of the host at the party. BYOB is a pretty simple way to gain Beer Karma points:   - Always Bring the Beer you like and want to drink - Always take care of the host: if the host of the party doesn’t like the beer you like, be sure to at least bring a 6 pack of the beer the host enjoys.
